It's Store Championship season!

Every year this is looked forward to by many people and there is always lots of tournaments to take part in.

This Sunday it was our Warhammer Conquest Store Championship.

Five players braved the weather for the event and all enjoyed themselves (which is always important when it comes to events - We don't want anyone leaving without a smile!)

Star Wars LCG Winter Kit Top Two Deck Lists

This weekend we held a slightly impromptu Winter Kit Tournament for Fantasy Flights Star Wars LCG (Living Card Game). Getting players together for an event is always a matter of fine tuning and negotiation but with everyone's yes' on the table we ran with it.

Five players turned out for this event and it was decided that rather than the usual swiss pairings they would do round robin, meaning that everyone got four games in.

There’s a new Deputy in Town

Next month we have our Deputy event for Doomtown. The Deputy event is the equivalent of a store championship in other events, however the winner of the event gets the honour of being called the Deputy of that event until the next one (as well as getting an awesome badge and a variety of other prizes).

Over the last few months there have been many Deputy events in the country and last week Aldershot had theirs.

In-depth look at Android: Netrunner Sheffield Regional

Welcome, one and all to another of IQ's game-centric blogs! A more in-depth look at one of the more popular Fantasy Flight LCGs in-store at the moment, the gritty, cyberpunk world of Android: Netrunner.
Based on the CCG Netrunner, originally created by the mind behind Magic: The Gathering - Richard Garfield - this asymmetrical game of strategy and bluffing proved wildly popular when first released and has been growing stronger ever since.
